More information on the Keio Copy
We have received additional information on the 1543 Fabrica preserved at Keio University in Japan (I/118). We are now able to fully describe the annotations in this copy, which reveal an early reader who is interested in the movement of the ears (a topic also discussed in the Coimbra copy, I/135), and where semen is produced. Like the Coimbra copy's reader, this annotator also notes his personal observations of people who could move their ears. The exemplar is also censored for the name of Oporinus, suggesting potential monastic origins for the copy. For more information, consult the updated entry here.
